Agiolax Madaus Granules, 250 g
Agiolax Madaus Granules are a laxative for short-term use in cases of constipation.
Application
Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age take 1 to 2 measuring spoons of Agiolax Madaus in the evening after eating.
The correct individual dosage is the smallest required to obtain a soft stool. The effect occurs after 8-12 hours.
The granules are swallowed whole with plenty of liquid (about 1/4 liter). There should be an interval of 1/2-1 hour after taking other medicines.
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the pack or carton. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
Hints
Like all laxatives, Agiolax Madaus should not be taken without medical advice if you suffer from fecal impaction or gastrointestinal complaints of unknown origin such as abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting, as these complaints may be an indication of impending or existing intestinal obstruction (ileus).
If laxatives are required every day, the cause of constipation should be determined. Long-term use of laxatives should be avoided.
