CAYA diaphragm gel 60 g Gel

Caya Gel is a contraceptive gel for use with the barrier contraceptives diaphragm and cervical cap. Caya Gel increases the effectiveness of these methods. Use without a contraceptive gel is demonstrably less effective. Mechanism

of action:
Caya Gel uses cellulose (the gelling agent) to form an additional physical barrier in front of the cervix and lowers the pH of the vaginal fluid. The increased acidity and viscosity of the gel inhibit sperm motility.

Application:
Before insertion into the vagina, approximately one teaspoon (about 4 ml) of Caya Gel is placed into the membrane of the diaphragm or cervical cap. The respective instructions for use should be followed. The vaginal applicator is used optionally if additional gel needs to be applied in front of the already inserted diaphragm (e.g., Caya contoured diaphragm, PZN 14017375) before renewed intercourse. The vaginal applicator can be used multiple times, but should be cleaned with warm water after each use.

Contraindications:
No reports of intolerances have been received. Should any adverse effects occur, discontinue use of Caya Gel and consult your doctor or pharmacist.
